We’ve been turning a few more dials behind the scenes. Here are the highlights from this update:
OMR Reviews: A New Platform for Your Review Forest
You can now connect OMR Reviews as a review platform with ReviewForest. That means a tree is planted for every new OMR review, just like with the other supported platforms.
OMR Reviews is one of the most important review platforms in the DACH region, especially for software, tools and digital services. If your business is listed there, you can now:
- Connect OMR Reviews during signup or add it as a platform to an existing review forest at any time
- Display OMR reviews on your forest page, including review text and star ratings on tree cards
- Show OMR reviews in your widgets: badge and carousel display your OMR reviews just like reviews from any other platform
This brings ReviewForest to 14 supported platforms: Google, Trustpilot, ProvenExpert, Kununu, OMR Reviews, G2, Gartner, Glassdoor, Trusted Shops, Facebook, Amazon, App Store, Google Play and ReviewForest itself.

Widgets: Cleaner and More Reliable
We’ve made two improvements to the widgets you can embed on your website:
- Review score badge on mobile: The review score badge widget now correctly shows only the score on smartphones, without extra elements that don’t belong there.
- Google reviewer profile pictures: Profile pictures for Google reviewers are now displayed correctly again in the carousel and in the app.
If you’re using widgets on your website: these improvements are live automatically. No changes needed on your end.
Email Templates for Review Invitations
In the “Review Invitations” section, you’ll now find a new tile for email templates. You can preview the available templates in both English and German. This makes it easier to ask your customers for a review via email.
Faster Load Times Under the Hood
We’ve modernized the technical infrastructure behind the ReviewForest app, forest pages and widgets. The result: faster load times and more reliable availability, especially during high traffic. Nothing changes in your day-to-day experience, except that everything runs a little smoother.
